Student Voice at Riverbank

At Riverbank, we promote student voice through our student-led parliament. This platform gives all classes the opportunity to put forward motions that drive positive improvements across the school. Through participating in the parliamentary process, students learn valuable skills, feel empowered to make a difference, and develop a strong sense of belonging within our school community.

Student-Parent Goal Sharing Sessions

We invite parents to join their children in goal sharing sessions throughout the year, providing a valuable opportunity to gain insight into their learning. During these meetings, students proudly share their successes and discuss areas for improvement. This collaborative approach fosters a strong partnership between home and school, supporting each student’s growth and achievement.

Peer Support Buddies

Our school runs a school-wide Peer Support Buddies program that encourages students to build meaningful connections across all grades. Through a variety of engaging activities, buddies support one another, fostering friendship, teamwork, and a positive school community.

Book Week Celebrations

At Riverbank Public School, we value developing a love of learning and literacy. Our annual Book Week celebration features a colourful parade where students dress up as their favourite book characters, bringing stories to life.

100 Years of Kindergarten

We celebrate important educational milestones, like the 100 Days of Kindergarten. Students enjoy dressing up as if they are 100 years old and participate in fun, engaging activities to mark the occasion.
